DIMO Now Available on Coinbase Learning Rewards

Three DIMO lessons and one quest are now available on Coinbase Learning Rewards.

Coinbase Learning Rewards are a fantastic opportunity for users to participate in the onchain ecosystem, learn about various concepts and innovations, and get rewarded in crypto for their efforts.

The Coinbase app is one of the most popular onchain utilities in the industry, and this initiative will help to spread the DIMO mission and encourage people to think differently about vehicle ownership.

By completing the lessons, users will learn about DIMO’s mission to build a better auto industry, how DIMO helps car owners drive smarter, and the power of vehicle data in an open mobility network. Completing the third lesson & subsequent quiz will reward users with $DIMO tokens. Finally, once you have completed all three lessons, you’ll be ready to move on to the quest to connect a new vehicle to the network. Upon completion of the quest, a reward in $DIMO will be disbursed to your Coinbase account.

Where to Find DIMO Lessons & Quest

First, users must have downloaded and created an account with the Coinbase app on either the iOS App Store or Google Play Store. The same regional and regulatory restrictions for purchasing crypto through the Coinbase app will also be applied to eligibility for Learning Rewards lessons & quests. Users will need to have executed a trade and completed identity verification before they are eligible to earn on any Learning Rewards campaign.

Once you’ve set up and configured your Coinbase account, navigate to the main menu and look for the rewards portal.

All three lessons are completed within the Coinbase app, and once completed the car connection quest is unlocked. Beginning the quest will direct you to a landing page where you will enter your email address to designate which DIMO account will be eligible for the quest. Be sure to log in to DIMO with the same email address to ensure rewards are sent to the correct account.

Lessons & Quest Eligibility

Eligibility for quest completion depends on your car, and varies for each manufacturer. The quest can be completed using a software connection using your preexisting vehicle’s app, or by connecting a DIMO hardware device like the LTE R1. If purchasing an LTE R1, please refer to the spreadsheet containing details for all supported vehicle makes and models. Using code CBQUESTS15 will give customers a 15% discount on LTE R1 devices. 

Additionally, to complete the quest users must connect a new vehicle to the DIMO network, with a VIN number not previously registered. Removing a vehicle from your account and re-adding it will not count as completion of the quest.
