The Movement #7
Hello DIMO Community!
Welcome to the 527 new drivers who added their cars to DIMO in the last month! Looking forward to helping you get connected and saving.
- 🌎 Expanding Ecosystem. New partners are joining the DIMO Ecosystem, increasing the ways that you can save money when you take ownership of your data.
- 🤑 Total Vehicle Value = $145M. We're starting to track the value of all vehicles connected to DIMO. As big as this number seems, it's just a small measure of the value the network can unlock.
- 📦 Shipping rolls on. We continue to ramp up, delivering devices and getting users connected.

🛠 Built on DIMO
DIMO is a place for you to discover new apps and services that can save you money
Introducing Built on DIMO — the place you can find new projects building on the DIMO Network.
⚡️ New this Month
Tenet (https://www.tenet.com/) If you finance your Tesla, you could save hundreds of dollars per month. Tenet is a financing platform designed around electric vehicles. By taking advantage of the strong resale value of EVs, Tenet allows DIMO users the option to finance/refinance their EV with a drastically lower monthly payment compared to traditional automotive financing methods. Learn more and get started here.
🛠 Most Used Apps
Carousell (https://www.carousell.autos/) Carousell has already saved DIMO users thousands on transactions and hundreds per month in payments using their data. Start with a Vehicle Genius Report on your car to find out if holding, refinancing, or selling would be most economical. If you're planning to sell your car or buy a new one, a Carousell expert can help.
📊 Telematics
$145,000,000 👀
That's the approximate resale value of all the vehicles that have been connected to DIMO, either via hardware or software connections. As of this newsletter, there are 3,645 connected cars at an estimated value of $40,000 (almost half are Teslas).
What's more is that the average driver has to spend about 2-3x the value of their vehicle in fuel, maintenance, insurance and other expenses, meaning that the economic activity all these vehicles represent is even bigger than that number alone.
With so little transparency into the true cost of vehicle ownership, DIMO is committed to helping drivers take control of their data and use that data to save money. More cars = more economic activity in DIMO.
📦 Shipping DIMO Hardware
Shipping updates
Another "best month ever" is in the books, and we crossed two milestones: +1,000 devices shipped in a single month and +2,000 shipped total. We still expect all pre-orders to be fulfilled by end of November. You can read the complete hardware update here.

Improved Vehicle Intelligence widgets are going through checks and QA over the next two weeks. These improved widgets will make getting value from your DIMO data much easier and more meaningful. Alongside the data will be tips and tricks for extending the health and longevity of your car.
We're working on one really important Vehicle Intelligence widget that we'll keep secret...for now.
